Laser Treatments

More than any other technology, laser therapy has emerged as the major tool in aesthetic therapy. The application of light waves to the skin has evolved dramatically with longer wavelengths of light treating deeper structures; the use of pulsed, as opposed to continuous, durations minimizing discomfort from heat, and wider beams covering greater areas more quickly. As a result, the number of conditions amenable to laser therapy has skyrocketed. If you have any of the following conditions, laser treatment can help. These include: superficial leg veins, dilated facial vessels, facial or body hair, sun and aging spots, birthmarks, rosacea, fine lines and wrinkles, and photorejuvenation.

Please note that a consultation, as well as proper skin care, are required prior to any laser treatment on the face.

Dermal Fillers

As our bodies age, our skin also ages and begins to show changes that may be undesirable. The fat and collagen underlying our skin begins to diminish due to the natural aging process. Therefore, our skin starts to sag and develop wrinkles. One way to correct these are dermal fillers. The dermal fillers can fill those deflated areas. Dermal fillers are a minimally invasive procedure with little or no recovery time, which costs less then surgery and has minimal risks. Dermal fillers have become a very trendy way to address the aging process. Fillers can be injected into areas with fine lines and wrinkles. Most of the problem areas include the area around the eyes, brow, bridge of the nose, mouth, jaw line and cheeks. Other areas that can be enhanced by dermal fillers include the lips, which can look fuller and younger after an injection. Scarring from injury to the face or acne can also be corrected with dermal fillers.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are another anti-aging treatment option in the peels/dermabrasion family. As one of the oldest skin rejuvenation methods, chemical peels produce incredibly safe, immediate results for anti-aging skin care patients. Like dermabrasion procedures, chemical peels are designed to correct skin problems such as acne, light wrinkles, age spots, large pores, and dull complexions. Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes to produce healthy, glowing skin. Peels can be combined with other procedures for a younger look.
